Llanero Solidario is participating, alongside organizations from Spain, Italy, Germany, and Ukraine, in ReRootED, an Erasmus+ project that will work over the next two years to promote the emotional well-being, social inclusion, and entrepreneurial skills of vulnerable migrant women.
This international initiative is carried out jointly by all partner organizations, which work together on an equal footing to design and implement training and community support programs.
Llanero Solidario kicks off its participation in ReRootED – “Building Skills and Resilience for Migrant Women in Social Entrepreneurship”, a cooperation project funded by Erasmus+ which brings together five European organizations with the shared goal of improving the social, emotional, and professional integration of vulnerable migrant women. The project will run for 24 months, from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2027.
A project developed in collaboration with European organizations
ReRootED takes place in direct cooperation among all participating associations, which work together to design educational content, create support tools, and share inclusive methodologies. Each organization contributes its expertise to build a robust, cross-cutting project.
The organizations that make up the consortium are:
- Llanero Solidario and KlemKa CoLAB (Spain)
- FacilitAscolto (Italia, Roma)
- Outside Media & Knowledge UG (Alemania, Baden-Wurtemberg)
- Pislyazavtra (Ukraine)
Addressing the challenges of migration
The project was created in response to the specific barriers faced by many migrant women: migration-related trauma, language barriers, discrimination, loneliness, and difficulties in accessing educational and professional opportunities. To this end, ReRootED combines three pillars: resilience and emotional well-being; emotional intelligence and coping strategies; and training in social entrepreneurship.
Throughout the project, transnational and local workshops, mentoring programs with experienced professionals, community support groups, participatory activities, and gamified digital tools will be developed.
The goal is to create safe environments where participants can learn, share, and build their confidence while exploring career and entrepreneurial opportunities in their host communities.
Expected impact
ReRootED aims to contribute to more inclusive and cohesive societies by improving the quality of life for migrant women and strengthening the role of educators and mentors who work with them. Collaboration among countries and organizations is key to developing more comprehensive, tailored, and sustainable solutions.
